What People Say About Us

Our Rehab Graduates

“Your team is the most professional, caring, motivated people that I have ever known. During the three weeks that I was under their care, they challenged, encouraged and enabled me to progress from a bed, to a wheel chair, and then a walker. Please express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding treatment and care that enabled me to return home in a short time.” – Rehab Graduate

“The physical and occupational team at Arlington Place was outstanding. They provided me with activities to improve my arm and leg strength and introduced me to a number of exercises that I can use when away from the facility. All-in-all, I find it was a good experience and will improve my health and well-being.” – Rehab Graduate, Arlington Place Health Campus

“The therapy team at The Willows at Bellevue did wonders for me after surgery. I was faced with possible amputation, so my orthopedic surgeon at Henry Ford Hospital never imagined I would progress this far, this quickly. My surgeon and I highly recommend The Willows!” – Rehab Graduate, The Willows at Bellevue

“When I came to Aspen Place, I was ready to give up. I wasn’t eating, had lost weight, and was even losing my hair, but the nurses and therapists set goals for me and promised they’d get me home. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring staff. They helped save my life and got me back on the right track!” – Rehab Graduate, Aspen Place Health Campus

“My son gave me his old Medium T-shirt. After wearing 1X and 2X for many years, I was surprised I could get into a medium. I hope you can tell I am standing taller. When I went into ‘the home’ [Arlington Place Health Campus], my rehab angels were about 6 inches taller than I. By the time I left, I was about 6-8 inches taller than they!” – Don, Rehab Graduate, Arlington Place Health Campus

“The dedication of the therapy team was nothing short of professional! Their patience, encouragement and understanding was the best combination I could have had. At times, when I may have needed to ‘talk’, someone always listened, so I can honestly say my physical, mental and emotional needs were met beyond what I expected!” – Kathy W. Rehab Graduate, Genoa Retirement Village

“When I first came to rehab here at Ridgewood Health Campus, I thought it would be impossible to do therapy on my shoulder. But Jill proved me wrong. She has ‘magic hands’. She is so gentle, but had me moving my arm to get range of motion with very little pain. Your ‘gentle giant’ Derrick helped me realize that I was not walking right and put me through some intense therapy to straighten my feet and not drag them. He was so patient with me and made therapy fun. I always looked forward to therapy time.” – Diane S. Rehab Graduate, Ridgewood Health Campus

“WOW! Going home tomorrow! When I first got here, I wasn’t doing very well due to a major operation I just had. Lots of pain and could barely walk. But, all of my therapists got me back on my feet and feeling much better. Thank you for everything! I’ll miss you all!” – Randall B, Rehab Graduate, Arlington Place Health Campus

“I have never had to go anywhere for rehabilitation and I was hesitant about going, but, I am glad I went. The time allowed some healing so I was no longer in pain. The rehab therapy was greatly needed and appreciated. I want to compliment you on the employees that work there. Everyone was very friendly. The rehab therapy department employees were fabulous. They were always cheerful and full of life. Their spirit filled the room. Even those patients who may not have wanted to do anything did so willingly because they knew someone cared about them getting better. I give you a pat on the back and thank you for providing this campus for people such as myself, who needed help at a desperate time.” – Carolyn D., Rehab Graduate, Wellbrooke of South Bend
