11th Annual Program Director’s Meeting
Published on October 20, 2017
Paragon Rehabilitation celebrated our 11th Annual Program Director’s Meeting on September 12-14, 2017 in Indianapolis. The meeting centered around the book, “The Energy Bus” by Jon Gordon. The Energy Bus took our Program Directors on an enlightening and inspiring ride that reveals 10 secrets for approaching life and work with the kind of positive, forward thinking that leads to true accomplishment – at work and at home. The three days of education, training, networking, and fun began with a keynote address from Leigh Ann Barney, Chief Operating Officer at Trilogy Health Services on Tuesday, September 12. Madhu Krish, Paragon’s Chief Operating Officer, then welcomed our leaders to the annual event and introduced Dave Hare for leadership training, followed by a fun evening of cocktails, dinner, and dancing!
Wednesday, September 14 was a day of training and education followed by celebration of accomplishments and successes. The day began with a Town Hall meeting hosted by Madhu and Trilogy Chief Executive Officer Randy Bufford. Attendees then earned CEUs by participating in breakout sessions, including “Be A Driving Force for Quality Care” and the Trade Show. After lunch, Shane Stuber, Director of the Trilogy Foundation, addressed Paragon’s leaders with an explanation of the Foundation and invitation to help support it. The Trilogy Foundation supports our employees by allocating 100% of the funds raised to our employees in need and scholarship programs. After enjoying an afternoon of networking, sightseeing, and participating in the Yoga for Wellness Event with Jen Xanders of Flourish Yoga and Wellbeing or the Walk/Run Wellness Event led by Andy Wagner and Dana Keisker, our Program Directors were treated to an amazing dinner and awards celebration.
On Thursday, September 15 the Program Directors attended three breakout sessions to again earn CEUs: “Leadership Development for Therapy Managers” with Missy Hall; “Falls: Spotlight on Assessment and Intervention” with Vic Ramos; and “Using a Positive Approach with Treatment Strategies in Dementia Programming” with Erin DuPrae.
After celebrating the highlights of the year of Paragon’s service to our customers and employees, our leaders returned to their campuses with new knowledge and skills to share with the teams. The energy and enthusiasm following the annual meeting will create continued success for Paragon’s future.
