Coming Together for Worthy Cause

The 2016 leadership conference changed all the Georgia program director’s views and drove a new focus on team service. After the conference, and witnessing Shane Stuber’s, AVP of Foundation & Workforce Development at Trilogy Health Services, compelling speech detailing the Trilogy Foundation and the ways in which it makes significant contributions and support, they all decided they wanted to come together to contribute to such a worthy cause. The Program Directors asked their local communities and staff to contribute and/or participate in an Inaugural Georgia Kickball Tournament that included Brightmoor Nursing Center, Westbury Health and Rehab of McDonough, Westbury Health and Rehab of Conyers and Westbury Health and Rehab of Jackson.

The teams included a mix of facility staff, therapy teams and family members on game day. As you can imagine the coming together of all the Westbury facilities for a worthy cause was a rewarding experience with fierce competition and all being driven to be the 2017 kickball champs. In the end, the Trilogy Foundation was the overall winner with the coming together of these facilities raising over $1,000.00.

Westbury Health and Rehab of Jackson seized the day with the Team Approach Works Best (T.A.W.B.) attitude and the bragging rights as the 2017 GA Kickball Tournament champions! Congratulations to all who participated and gave their time, donations and heart to make this awesome event happen. A special thank you to Semika Narcisse, Alma Adams, Shani Clark and Jaimie Trulove for coming together to make this such an amazing success. Paragon is honored to know and work with such amazing people!
